I know it doesn’t solve the feature request, but if you don’t use Android, you can get the Tool Options on the screen with the [Redesign](https://krita-artists.org/t/krita-ui-redesign-v0-5-alpha-released-requesting-feedback/33130/53) plugin or with the Touchify plugin. And the [Touchify](https://krita-artists.org/t/touchify-plugin-tablet-touch-friendly-accessibility-more/74630) plugin, which offers much more than the Redesign plugin, is without exaggeration definitely a killer plugin.
