For an animation project centered around birds, I’m painting nine backgrounds in gouache.

I mixed it out of a color called ‘helio turquoise’, which is only available from one brand (Schmincke).
It is very lovely!
All of these are done with a limited pallette consisting of that turquoise, quinacridone magenta, primary yellow, titanium white and yet black.
