Hi!,

I’m very new to krita and want to test its thick paint / impasto brushes. I have some brushes that are more or less what I want (They are called RGBA-web.bundle and I took them from [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGaVQaFI64k](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGaVQaFI64k) ). They look and feel good but the problem is that I can’t get them to transfer the needed thickness to the stroke. I want to achieve something like the picture below. If you have a look at the white part of the bird head it has some strokes with big a big amount of paint. Can I get something like this with these brushes I downloaded or others?

There is a bird painting image here on [pinterest](https://in.pinterest.com/pin/611152611948494201/) for reference.

Thanks in advance!

@emilm’s brushes are great for that.

> [@Rotating light brushtips WIP](https://krita-artists.org/t/rotating-light-brushtips-wip/64930):

> Some experiments with animated RGBA brushtips, made using a rotating light in Blender. Rotation set to Drawing angle in Krita. gih export with the first dimensions Selection mode set to Angular. That way the light directions stays roughly the same, regardless of brush stroke direction. A limitation with this setup is that it doesn’t work correctly when the canvas is mirrored. Workaround by activating the mirror sensor in the Brush Editor.

Also, the brushes from here (dunno if you already have them):

> The RGBA/wet is a different bundle made by @RamonM and can be found on the following page among many other resources, and everything is free of charge. You really should check out the folders on that site too, if you don’t want to miss great resources: Michelist
