You have 4 votes, simply set a hook in front of your favorite candidates, then click the Vote-Button.

Till the deadline, you can change your votes as often as you like. So, much time to think, play, test, check-out, have fun - but do not miss the deadline while regrouping your votes.

Hi everyone!
Congratulations to everyone who was nominated and to the winners.
We have a 5-way tie for the 5th winning position. Normally we would break the tie by determining which tied image was uploaded first. In this case, 2 of the 5 images were uploaded on the same day so I’ve asked our Admins/Mods to break the tie.
This happened because only 24 people voted this month, and this is the reason why we’ve never been able to allow more than 4 choices when voting even though this is requested fairly often.
I’ll post the full winners list as soon as the tie breaker is finished.

Top 5 Winners for January/February
The top 5 images will be displayed on the banner shortly and will be entered into the Best of Krita-Artists 2026 competition next January.
How we handled this month’s tie
This month we had 5 winning images tie for 5th place with 20% each. When there is a tie, we award the image with the earliest upload date. This time it wasn’t so simple as two entries shared the same earliest upload date so the Admin/Mod team broke the tie.

Thanks a lot, I will like to have more people participating on the forum. but I can imagine how to do it, some times I see artist drawing or painting with krita in youtube so I ask them why they dont upload images in the Krita forum. I always put #KRITA in my pics on instragram, I really hope some day this forum gets bigger becaus Krita is the Best, I found myself not using photoshop anymore after I learn how to use Krita.
Please people spread the Word of this awesome software, and if you can donate money so it can continue being great.

The difficulty with voting here is that very few active members vote. The forum gets around 40,000 page views per day, 3,000 to 4,000 of those are from logged in users yet only 24 voted this month.

Maybe if we put the contest on the first page always and its pinned so everyone can see it in the Finished artworks With a big sign that said MONTHLY CONTEST PLEASE VOTE,
I know its hard work everything this team does, so please don’t feel invisible, you guys make our lives better.
and sorry if my words sounds like a poetry, Im an artist and the best way to express gtattitue that I know is with art.

Yes something at the front page reminding people to participate would help some I think
It’s always pinned globally which means you see it at the top of every page. It stays there unless the user has changed their preferences to have pinned posts disappear after seeing them once.
Also, when voting begins, the published poll places the thread in the active topics so users know there is an unread post and I change the title of the globally pinned post to add the words VOTING OPEN.
