Referenced from one of my own camping photos. I liked how the fog was rising from the lake in early morning. Time lapse and reference photo included ![Buck Lake November](https://krita-artists.org/uploads/default/original/3X/9/9/99851f06a1798ef24a5c092f74b081d24a2cc37e.jpeg) [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/-De3FiDfqQA/maxresdefault.jpg "Timelapse Krita Painting Buck Lake") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-De3FiDfqQA) ![78331090_10212126548318333_8034144430665498624_n](https://krita-artists.org/uploads/default/original/3X/1/2/12e9bb845b1ac17dc6d81698611f69181ce2c6fb.jpeg) ---

Stunning, truly. This piece looks like it must have been fun to create. The way the light hits the long grass and shimmers on the water. The darks could be a bit darker I guess. ---

Thank you @tachiko . I’m not a great photographer, but I try to take interesting shots to use as reference for my paintings. This one caught my eye for the same reasons you mentioned. I was thinking the same thing with the darks, but the colors in the photo just seemed too dark. I think facing into the sun caused the contrast to get extreme. 🙂 ---
