Enjoying some clouds






Below with textured cloud brush gives a calm look. THe cloud doesn’t look that dense

Below with a round brush, I can make it more personnal I think it looks more gigantic and agitated

I didn’t have it a day ago. (Had the theory but felt sluggish) I think timelapses are a great help to learn at matrix speed

One of my main problems is that I can’t get it to look like the clouds are distant objects especially when part of a a landscape and when they are big. They always look out of place.

Well, i know an use this already but will take a look at the video to see what I do wrong. I think in my case it is often more a matter of composition, I just place them in a dumb way. When they’re partly covered by something like tree branches or maybe there is a house or anything relatable close to it, it works but free floating clouds without anything to reference always look super odd and out of place.

Scott Robertson is actually a very big shot in the concept design industry :stuck_out_tongue:

the most interesting thing is that for all these clouds are different
some clouds resemble a helicopter and some a cat
it all depends on creativity
