Hey y’all, I’ve been using Krita for a pixel art project but am struggling a little with the pixel art brush. I’m makng a lot of use of the bezier curve and line tools, but I need it to be “connected” during diagonals

This is more or less what I’m getting…

…And this is the desired effect

 ![image](https://krita-artists.org/uploads/default/original/3X/a/c/ac03d8a80976d6f7e5f0684a50c1867c290889b1.png)

Is there a brush that does this, and if not, how could I go about making one?

Any help would be appreciated :]

While drawing some pixel art, I felt the need to create some brushes that would make drawing easier, especially for dithering, which can be a pain to draw by hand… pixel… by pixel laughing So I went and searched on the internet and found this page: I decided to recreate the patterns on Krita, alongside other brushtips to be able to easily draw grass and leaves. After some creating, I found myself with these: There’s a hair brush, an alchemy brush, dotted circl…

> Hi everyone, I made a Krita pixel art brush set which is based on one I made for Clip Studio Paint some years ago. It is designed to emulate patterns seen in retro games like FM-Towns, PC-98, SNES, and Game Boy. Download links The .bundle file is available to download from from Ko-fi, or my website. My website has some additional examples of dithering patterns. [https://ko-fi.com/s/4518dea86d](https://ko-fi.com/s/4518dea86d) Here is a header image and brush preview:

If you want to create brushes yourself for pixel art, then use the Grid brush engine for your first experiments. To get the best information available for creating brushes using Krita there is this tutorial series, and you won’t find anything more comprehensible than this currently. →

Oh this is really really cool! Ty. I’m unsure if it has what I need but this is admittedly a niche usecase, so this is probably about the best I can get. Much appreciated!

The latest version of Krita (5.3.0) added a feature where there’s a brush smoothing feature called “Pixel”, it will effectively be a pixel perfect brush when used at 1px size. For example with a 1px brush (Pixel Art in Pixel Art tag):
