Oh. I hope Halla is getting well soon. Unfortunate circumstances.
I still don’t like their TOS, though. Especially the part where contest winners lose all the rights to their OC.

Also: The Krita social media accounts should delete the warning that was posted recently because of this and post an apology instead. We messed up and we should make that clear.
I’ve deleted the posts but am sitting here in disbelief over Krita collaborating with an AI gen company.
Yes, we do need to send out apology posts but after having taken such a strong stance against AI image gen, we need to think about our community. How will we word this?
I will need help with this.
Are they a generative AI company? In their TOS they have made it clear that they don’t accept AI generated content (which made me think they’re not into AI) but I wouldn’t be surprised if they have a double standard and only require this from the contributing artist.
The only online information about Code27 is AI stuff. Right now they are trying to launch a new AI product through a Kickstarter campaign.
EDIT to add X link
That’s just the news I needed to make my already bad day even worse.
@Takiro I’m right there with ya.
oof…
I would have left my comment at that since it sums it all up… oof…
anyways… feel better halla…
I bet they didn’t tell @halla about this, or in other words, @halla may have even been deliberately deceived.
I firmly believe that we should inform her of this fact as a matter of urgency, despite the fact that she probably needs more time to recover at the moment, and I am very sure that she was not aware of this bad news. She may even be prepared to revoke the cooperation if she finds out about it!
@halla, I wish you a speedy recovery!
