Do you know Medibang? Help us describe differences between Medibang and Krita

I have Medibang Paint Pro but I barely use it since I mainly use Krita for everything.

I don’t know if the Select Pen and Eraser tool counts as something.

  • Select Pen and Eraser: A bit more convenient than using the lasso or the shape selections, especially if it’s an area that’s a bit more complicated. It’s more precise and you can draw/erase directly with it. Clip Studio Paint also has this feature but they’re called ‘Selection Pen’ and ‘Erase Selection’.

I use them but I stick to the select tool and use [shift] to add a part of the selection or [alt] to remove form the selection. So I don’t know if it counts?

  • Medibang has a cloud storage. When saving artwork it asks whether you want to save on the cloud or pc.

  • A few extra filters.

  • Snap tools (vanishing point, parallel, radial, circle)…

  • And for the comic template, there is a [operation tool] that allows you to edit the panels that are there by default. You can scale the panels, rotate, etc, and and there is a [divide tool] that allows you to divide the panels.

{p.s. I probably missed it if it’s there, I don’t see anything in the manual on the comics manager in Krita. It’s probably something basic but would you mind explaining it for me. Thanks in advance.}

These are the few things I know about the software. I don’t know what else is different really, other than the overall layout. If it’s technically, I don’t know. I don’t use the pressure settings in software, etc…

{edit: I know you had the reference docker before but can I ask for it back? The one Medibang has is quite useful and [Open Canvas] as well}

Clip Studio Paint on the other hand I’m trying to get used to.
It has a lot of features.
