I usually make sketches as indicated **[in this tutorial.](https://krita-artists.org/t/tutorial-how-i-sketch-in-krita/100123)** It may be interesting for you to work with _bleeds_ **[(see here)](https://krita-artists.org/t/tutorial-working-with-bleeds-in-krita/116874)**, that way if you decide to increase the final cut area of your art it becomes easier and more practical.
