I agree. Unfortunately, it’s sometimes hard to remember some of those techniques. I think I may need a clean up list to refer to when I think I’m done with each phase of painting/drawing.

Oh this one has really nice planes’ edge, and also has evenly drawn hatch lines for the shading, that shows a great brush control 
. Keep it up

@ynr_nohara @TBs_thename Thanks all. I figured it was time to up my game with hatching. Was inspired by a few David Finch videos on the tube. Decided to give it a go. In typical fashion, drawing with his videos playing in the background yielded decent results. More so than trying it myself.
I think I remember an old commercial about that. Tiger Woods (a famous US golfer) went to a driving range to hit a bucket of balls. When he was there, everyone around him did much better, while observing and trying his technique. When he left, so did everyone’s else’s new found skills.

I’m sure you can make the technique you observed sticks permanently. Just need to find the "essence " or what I’d like to call the silver lining which is the pattern in process that is always repeated by the original artist.
But that’s just the beginning, since consistency is especially needed after the understanding part. But you can’t really be consistent when you’re still confused and trying to understand. So remember there’s sequence when learning.
I actually forget about this a lot and stunted my own learning journey.
I am gonna stop talking becauss the cue of my brain jumping again to negativity. There’s still time, don’t be afraid to try and more importantly don’t rush and remember there is always a sequence for everything, things juat don’t happen out of the blue, good or bad.
