Could you be a bit more precise how your document should be changed and what do you want to have on your hard drive when you press the shortcut for “new page”?
You want to have a new .kra or .png file in once specified folder, with no prompt window (name of the file is a time stamp)? And the document should stay as it is, or should be replaced with a new document?
I think logical would be like on y real sketchbook: It makes a new blank site (kra File with e.g. timestamp). No layers copied from previes.

I have installed it with your document. Description is clear.
First results on my windows 10 18363 Build 18363
Krita: 4.2.9
Language: German
If I make first page it looks like:
If I make 2nd pakte it looks like (layer 1 (Eben 1) moves to root, Layer is added to Page1)
So new pages are added under Page1, the last pages moves to root.
Summary: Looks nice
An option would be: Choose between save new page as layer or as new page.
Shortcuts are not working, but functions can be called from extras menu, not a huge problem for me

Checked it importing to my windows.
Importing via script importer is not working fully as actions are not imported (they allow to assing shortcuts). This file needs to be installed manually as in my .pdf.
But there is still one mistake, my own - ctrl+pageUp/Down is already a shortcut for something else and it’s not working now, though can be changed to working ones in settings. I’ll fix that somewhere soon, changing all of them to something like ctrl+shift+pageup…
You posted just one screenshot. Eben is something that you may want to delete when using the extension. Layer is something I create as a default layer for drawing on a page. You can create more layers above it - they will all be a part of the page and will be hidden when creating a new page.
New pages should appear above the previous ones.
I downloaded it and so far it’s pretty cool! I’m currently using it to compile my ideas for a children’s greeting card fable I’m required to make for school

You can also animate a layer and so have ‘sub-pages’ as separate frames of the animated layer.
That was Tiar’s idea, but then you won’t be able to have different amount of layers on each page that easily, which I quite needed.
Though it’s still not really covering John’s request and he may still need some kind of saving script with time stamps. But I’m not really that keen on writing it 
Trying it, I can make many layers in a page group and each layer can be renamed as desired.
Each layer can be animated or not as desired. You can scrub along the timeline to show different frames of a layer within a ‘page’.
The next stage of development would be to have ‘Chapters’ which would be groups of ‘pages’
