Feature req for android ui to be considered

Yes, Infinite Painter does have great potential but I’d wait a while until the dev gets the bugs worked out. Same with the sister app, Infinite Design, which does vector nicely.

With CSP, I haven’t seen any artwork that looks as great as art done in Krita. With Krita, you can have a very impasto, thick oils look, just as ArtRage can do and that to me makes Krita superior because it can do that free!

I’m loving Krita very much and hope that it can be worked out for phone screens too (right from the Playstore without having to adjust it much).

@Reitei17 Yeah, hope in the future some big Corp help fund Krita, i saw that there’s some colleges using Krita to teach animation instead of other apps.
Hope it got this kind of attention it deserves more.
I remember looking at Blender in the past and thinking that it would dominate the market one day, and we can already see that
Always though it about Krita too, it has the potential, and i think that the mobile scene can catapult that a lot since more and more people go mobile.

@CrazyCatBird just go to Art Gallery - Clip Studio Paint and you will see some outstanding paintings done with CSP, funny enough for years i though the contrary, that i never saw Krita artworks as good and crisp as CSP or photoshop ones, a preconception i don’t have anymore haha.

I use three main apps, PS, CSP and Krita.
In Fact Krita have a better brush engine for traditional brushes simulation, but CSP also have a very robust brush engine, and i find their two engines better than the PS one.
PS is super reliable and fast on artworks with 10000 px wide size and hundreds of layers, CSP it’s amazing for line artwork with it’s vector brush system that allows to easily change line thickness and shape on the line, although it can paint the same as the others, and Krita have a bit of everything, i love all the freedom and different tools it gives, it’s also my main mobile app, so having all that on the go it’s amazing.
But ultimately they can produce the same results.

@AxelFar those examples are very nice (and skillful) and yours look gorgeous but the CSP paintings don’t have the texture as Krita (and ArtRage) can do. They have the appearance of having been done in markers. Here’s a couple of examples of the nice textures that I love about Krita…

Notice how pic #1 looks like real oils and pic #2 looks like real chalk crayon. That’s what I like about paintings done in Krita, they can look like real media.

I do have csp on my tablet but I don’t like the limitations of csp. As was brought out, I too don’t like to have to pay a subscription in order to access my work. It’s like having to pay a ransom. I also don’t like the interface. It feels awkward to me.

Krita really outshines and win in this regard, did you use RGBA brushes in the first picture?
You said you didn’t saw artwork made on CSP as great as done in Krita, but they can be, just the words you choose i think
Hope Krita adds some simulation things like Rebelle one day, that would be dope. Other thing i love about it, it can go anywhere being a open source software.

Yes, I used the rgba brushes. They’re my favorites so far.

Yeah, what I was referring to was texture, not the art itself.

Anyway, I’ve been having fun with Krita on my Android tablet. So nice to be able to paint in such a great app on-the-go!
