I used an exported .png as the file layer and I didnā€™t pay attention to the export options for colour profile - an important thing :frowning:
I do see the behaviour you showed if I do things properly :slight_smile:

So, there is a way of doing it, intended or not.

If I turn off the Alpha channel in the Channels docker then that doesnā€™t have any effect on alpha inheritance for selected layers.
