Filter Preview (Filter Mask)

When previewing a filter, it always takes it as the highest priority. If the layer itself has a filter mask, it will not work well.
For example: I want to make a paintlayer have filter mask1 and filter mask2. In the layer docker it is like this:
paintlayer
–filter mask2
–filter mask1
But if it is now:
paintlayer
–filter mask1
When I preview, the layer will give priority to filter2, and then calculate filter mask1. Then I click to generate a filter mask, and the effect on the canvas is completely different.

That effect is obvious for some filters like blur and edge detection in combination.
I thought it would be possible to use a filter layer above the paint layer as a workaround, and it is for initial viewing, but if you then Convert the filter layer to a filter mask, you have to manually enter the filter settings again.
