Hi everyone, I made a Krita pixel art brush set which is based on one I made for Clip Studio Paint some years ago. It is designed to emulate patterns seen in retro games like FM-Towns, PC-98, SNES, and Game Boy. **Download links** The .bundle file is available to download from from Ko-fi, or my website. My website has some additional examples of dithering patterns. > **[Dithering Brushes (Freebies) - Pixel Glade](https://pixelglade.net.au/resources/freebies/ditheringbrush.html)** > > Free pixel art dithering brushes for Clip Studio Paint (CSP), Krita, and Aseprite. Includes download links, visual examples of dithering patterns in PC-98 games, and an instructional video to make a dithering gradient. [https://ko-fi.com/s/4518dea86d](https://ko-fi.com/s/4518dea86d) Here is a brush preview: ![Brush_Preview_Krita](https://krita-artists.org/uploads/default/original/3X/2/e/2edb5a67bfbcec3c6725621ecd4088e50fa58ec4.png) **How the brushes were made** Essentially in the Brush Settings \> Pattern \> Texture I uploaded .BMP textures of the dithering patterns. If necessary you can invert the pattern in Pattern \> Options \> Invert Pattern, though I did invert one pattern already because it was a little unusual. The tags associated with these brushes are Pixel Art and Dither and they use the Krita Pixel Art brush engine. **Brush Format** The files are available as a .bundle file which can be imported using the Resources Manager in Settings. Hope everyone enjoys using these brushes! ---

Hello @pixelglade and welcome back 🙂 Thank you for noticing this and telling us about it. It’s surprising that nobody mentioned it but I suppose they went to the Ko-fi shop. I’ve fixed the link in the main post. You needed to put a blank line between the links. ---

Hi AhabGreybeard, I had assumed it had worked the first time because the link embedded content in the post so I was surprised it was broken. Thank you for fixing it! ---

@pixelglade Updated the link in the first post and then deleted your update request post to avoid confusion. I also deleted a similar post you had made (June 2024) that updated one of the original links. It’s important that the brush links only appear in the first comment of the thread. Thanks for the ping @Michelist. ---
