Ive checked in the windows settings already, my laptops touchpad is able to zoom in and out and move objects/screen view in the other apps, except krita. Before the windows laptop i used mac to draw and was able to use its touchpad to rotate and zoom my drawings in krita but since i switched to windows, I cant do neither. Ive studied the canvas input settings in configure krita already, configured the two fingers drag gestures but not only it doesnt work, it wont let me pick both options to zoom and drag the view for two finger drag and when i try to zoom in/out with two fingers, it just spawns the colour picker instead. I draw on Windows 11, using XP Pen Deco 01 V2 graphic tablet to draw. What can I do to resolve this?
I don’t know about this area but the touchpads on Windows laptops are probably not as ‘sophisticated’ as those on Mac devices.
Does your XP Pen Deco graphics tablet have multi-finger touch sensitivity? If so, you might get good results from that instead of using a Windows laptop touchpad.
unfortunately, my tablet doesnt have this option, that would be great
A user in another topic may be able to give information and advice:
Touchpad shortcuts (e.g., Ctrl + touchpad swipe) stop working after switching away from and back to Krita

Thank you, I checked the thread but it seems to me their problem is slightly different?
