# How to create thicker paint strokes?

@Mythmaker Yes idealy it would be great to have a physics emulation. Good that you explained that Krita is not designed that way. That make me understand what to expect.

To understand what is possible and not , I will inform myself into existing brush and paint engines.

I will find out how to get this working.

Right now I am more aware of who on the forum have similar interest in a [Impasto Engine](https://krita-artists.org/t/impasto-engine/4831) and [Use alpha channel in brush tips, or add an overlay tip](https://krita-artists.org/t/use-alpha-channel-in-brush-tips-or-add-an-overlay-tip/4147) and now I am aware of @Voronwe13 and his attention for this matter.

So I will follow these topics by that we can close my/this topic here.
