How to export brush preset/bundle?

You can find your resource folder via several ways.

  1. You can simply hit the button ‘‘Open Resource Folder’’ in Krita under ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Manage Resources…’’ >>

  2. You can browse to the path shown in Krita under ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Configure Krita’’ >> ‘‘General’’ in the tab ‘‘Resources’’

  3. You can search for the file name of a known resource that you have imported into Krita, e.g. the Rakurri bundle, but the resourcecache.sqlite file can also be found there, the Finder should be able to find both.

To delete a resource physically, you need to delete it with help of a file manager in Krita’s resource folder, respectively in their corresponding subfolders. Brush Presets are found in the “paintoppresets” folder, for instance, the brush tips in “brushes” and possible patterns of a brush preset in “patterns”.
Don’t forget, the resourcecache.sqlite can only be renamed or deleted when Krita is not running, as long as Krita runs every OS should lock this database.

When creating bundles, and in regard to adding brush presets, it is sufficient to only add the brush presets to a bundle with recent versions of Krita, Krita should automatically add the brush tips and patterns belonging to the brush preset to the bundle.
You have to give it a name and must select a location to safe it to.
But there is something in the back of my head that there once were issues with a certain font family/category, and I think to remember it was something with Hebraic or Arabic fonts, but I may be wrong because I was unable to find the reference for it. The issue I believe to remember was that use of these fonts/language families led to not added resources. So, in case you may use such font families, you may want to try it with some Latin fonts instead.

Another thing is, when you create a bundle and test it on the same user account where you created it, then there are usually also the resources available from which you created your bundle, and in that case you need to delete/rebuild your resourcecache.sqlite, so Krita can “sort” this double existing resource thing for itself, you may want to read this topic about that issue:

If people refuse to ask their questions because of that, then they may have not understood the context, have not seen that you did not answer the questions I asked you (and will not know that you are good at doing that, take a look at your earlier topics).
You are long enough in the forum to know what we need from you, and that we only can help when you answer our questions. Nobody has to be afraid of being addressed sarcastically by me if the person meets me at eye level.

The helpers here are all volunteers, we help in our spare time, and it is not funny to ask questions over and over again, because a very few users seem to believe we sit beside them and see what they see, or even believe we can read their minds. This constantly re-requesting things is time you steal from other help seekers, because we are not a professional 24/7 help-desk.
