Hurdles of a "Photoshop Guy"

But which user to understand?
User A who want the schmilblick function, or user B who don’t want the schmilblick function?

thats why I said I was on no side  because it is too complex. i personally think krita’s many customization options of shortcuts/plugins can help ease the pain of people new to krita.

the user can an explorer and find what works for them. it doesn’t take too long to get things set up. yeah maybe a day or more but… :man_shrugging: humans can adapt!

I tried photoshop trial today…the canvas pan animation made me go omagahhd but it wasn’t too bad.

ultimately I think it is just a little bit easier for krita to be the bigger man and add whatever change to make the eraser switch thing problem better. because it is a little harder to change peoples’ minds (because there are many types of people).

and if krita’s new change does still not appease them then oh weeell. there ARE many people on earth  there’s also other art programs so they should be fine…

my (prob bad) idea is to make the switch present button to the (E) with a default eraser and the person can figure it out. this way: it is not redundant to the brush tool (if that is a worry) and people can switch quickly. you guys can make better ideas than me lol.

this is offtopic so I will stop it at here…sorry lol.

try to be on topic.
