Don’t beat yourself up for it (artist already get enough snarky comments from other people), as long you be honest about using someone else’s art as a reference, inspiration or a study and your not taking other people’s stuff and claiming it as your own, I don’t see any issues with using pictures and videos as references, inspiration or a study.
In a similar field, animation and movie making uses a lot of pictures, videos and materials as references if the animation/movie makers want it to be accurate or heavily inspired by real life items. 2 really go examples in movies would be Hereditary (2018 horror movie) and the Conjuring movie series. In Hereditary, the main enemy Paimon in the movie is based on the real life entity King Paimon from the Lessor Keys of Solomon, while the Conjuring movies are based on the real life Ed and Lorraine Warren and their work in various alleged cases of hauntings and possessions.
