hello, i’m running the latest version of krita on my android tablet, the app crashes most of the times while i’m changing the image scale or color profile. and to be honest i don’t know how to report if this is a bug or not because it’s a bit complicated
You’ll have to provide more information about it, this isn’t enough to diagnose. If I scale an image or change the color space, I don’t generally get a crash.
Unless of course I run the device out of memory by giving it a larger image than it can handle, which causes Android to terminate the application. So if it only happens for you on large or complex images, that’s probably the issue. Which would neither be a crash nor a bug, it’s just exceeding hardware limits.
Since you already wrote about it here, don’t also create a bug report as well, that just spreads the discussion in two places.
I wish i can give more details but that’s it! Plus right now I’m writing this reply after the app crashed during changing the brush tab. My device has good hardware pluse plenty of free memory and ram. I was just random sketching so there’s no heavy work rn while it crashed. Thank you for your time
