I’ve used Vector in Krita and even made a tutorial for that the way I like to do vector drawing. Yeah, it can get involved with editing all those points but the result afterward is very satisfying. I got used to it that way from using Infinite Design. So, just as @Corentin said, find the right strokes in your sketches and make them firmer (on another layer). ---

I also felt it was too small - and in relation to the squirrel too. I did have it in mind to change, but will probably need to expand the canvas.
