I was well-trained by my void!!
This is my entry for challenge of May. It is inspired by a picture taken at a lake nearby where I also added a person. It’s far from perfect and not quite as I imagined it to turn out, but it taught me some things that I will use in future paintings.
Amazing!
Hello, the contest is the opportunity to test Expansion pack from @Ico-dY
It’s more about symmetry than reflection, but the goal was to have fun.
This piece is really sweet and the hands touch so delicate!
The style is so “zen” like but the concept is powerful and incisive.
Truly, a big ability to synthesize feelings through pictures! ![]()

You’re welcome! I love the minimalist styles! ![]()
Thank you Ron
My entry for this month:
Since I’ve made the palm tree brushes…
Bonus: Neon Palms Reflection
Initial inspirations:
“radient summer cards with silhouette palms” by @freepik
And
“Neon palm tree, tropical leaves. Reflection of neon light in water” by user4387299
Both at https://www.freepik.com
Putting the King in the background adds so much to the story!
My submission: Light Reflection
This project was created using entirely brushes from FizzyFlower’s ESSENTIAL Brush Set Version 2. VERY creative and fun brushes in that set. I had a blast!
Beautiful work! Welcome to the forum and to the challenge, @Jen_Avakian.
Seems like someone didn’t like their own reflection! ![]()
That’s what I was thinking too ![]()
Inspired by Salar de Uyuni and reflection beaches around the world.

Gone Fishing… monk style!
Very cool @Jen_Avakian ! I do enjoy FizzyFlower’s brush bundle… it inspired me to make my Palm Tree brushes for this month’s challenge. If you like doing nighttime cityscapes, I’m also a fan of IForce73’s bundle. There are lots of cool building and lights brushes in this bundle. Have you checked it out? I used his extended reflection brush from this bundle in my picture.
There’s a cool video about them here as well:
Cityscape Brushes for Krita
Here’s my version of “a person reflecting in front of a reflective surface”. ![]()
After losing way too much time trying to find the right angle to express in a funny way a vampire’s lack of reflection, I finally gave up and just made yet another fan art… At least I managed to experiment on different techniques and brushes than what I did before. ![]()
