Thanks.
These lantern are so cool, such a nice choice ^^.

@Katamaheen I think I noticed an inconsistency in your lighting effect: on the left side, the light of the fire on the floor goes as far as the middle of the armchair, but the front side of the armchair itself is totally in the shadow. Shouldn’t it be half in the light as well? ![]()
@corentin You’re right!
I struggled with that part so I just left it like that.
@Corentin Santa Claus ! ![]()
@Corentin Johnny Mnemonic!
Thanos?
Bugs Bunny? ![]()
Michelist
That’s Hellboy!
Thanks to everyone who participated in this game of avoiding the right answer in the goofiest possible way, and to @Elixiah who ended it with her foot in the bullseye!
![]()
@Corentin Uh-oh… once again, the nature of the game went right over my head!
I kept thinking, how does this group not know this is Hellboy?
![]()
So, now that I’ve taken another close look at it, I have to say that I was blind. Judging by the ears, it can only be Spock, once again trying to predict the future from the lines on his hand in Vulcan’s red evening sun! And that’s despite the fact that this isn’t even possible for hybrid beings! Something that HE really ought to know…

No problem @Elixiah, don’t worry!
To be fair, it was neither explicited nor even planned, so someone had to miss the untold rule sooner or later. My question was merely a rhetorical one when I shared my sketch, but it all happened in a beautiful organic way after @Katamaheen answered my previous joke about the big man in red with a joke of her own here, and people kept grafting themselves on that joke, it was kind of hilarious to see… ![]()
@Michelist to be fair, your “Bugs Bunny” made me doubt if you were really participating or if you just happened to say a random name while passing by! Your Mr Spock theory is way better!
But OK, got the message now, I’m gonna reduce the ears a little bit…
My hope was, that someone will pick up my hint and point to Spock, but it didn’t happen. ![]()
I always take things very seriously,
especially humor, because that makes it even funnier when you understand it (I hate people who start laughing before the punchline or announce it with “And now comes the punchline!” and thus ruin the joke).
![]()
And that’s exactly where some people seemingly have difficulty understanding the essence of what humor is. Well, there are people for whom this may be a health condition, they can’t help it. But there are also those who make you wonder if they’ve swallowed a broomstick (or have a stick up their bottom).
At least for me, I like it best when you, slowly or suddenly, recognize the punchline in something while you’re thinking about the things you’ve just seen, read, or heard, and then you find it so amusing that you can’t hold back your laughter.

I just got started working on my piece. I only study my subject first before heading on to the main character of the plot for this challenge.
Here’s my WIP:
Here’s another WIPs I’ve done so far.
I’m almost finished. It’s time for me to start putting all the things together in thumbnails.
Nice process
Thank you. Much appreciated and heartfelt.
I just ran into this and it felt like it fit our challenge this month: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWnsSDujlCE
He uses Procreate, but sometimes I find it a fun challenge to try to paint his stuff in Krita. I might give this one a go.
If anyone else wants to paint along, here are the colors in a GiMP .gpl format to import into Krita:
(I guess I can’t upload .gpl files here, so just save this in notepad and import it from there)
