Are you going to add the alien world? I think that has to be part of the submission.
Thanks @sooz, I think I can see where you’re coming from. Yes, my picture is nothing like the ‘Luke and Obi-Wan go to the Cantina’ scene from Star Wars.
I just checked Wikipedia, and it says, “Worldbuilding is the process of constructing an imaginary world or setting, sometimes associated with a fictional universe.” Perhaps an alien space setting is on topic and a planet/world/cantina may not have to be present? 
So, spaceships fleeing a hungry, space-faring, giant-octopus-like creature? We can even imagine the spaceships were built/piloted by some humans far in the future. Well, I’ve seen Sci Fi movies with less worldbuilding, to be sure! 
I think my picture creates a scene that answers the call in the main topic, the four questions raised in the topic blurb, and incorporates the optional challenge as well.
Maybe @MossGreenEddie can weigh in… does there need to be an actual alien world for this month’s worldbuilding challenge?

Nope, no alien world necessary, could be an alien world but could also just be aliens interacting in general. Sorry if my i didn’t expand the theme enough, i am currently in exam stress-

@MossGreenEddie You will do good in your exams! Also, thank you for clarifying the prompt. When I saw @steve.improvthis submission, I realized I might have misunderstood the prompt again (I’m notorious for that). Based on your clarification, I think my entry is a viable entry even if it doesn’t have an alien in it.

Ok, I did some work on the clouds, made the hang gliders more alien, played with some filters on the ground effects, and added a Borg Cube. And after that… looking at them side by side… I think I’m going to drop the cube. I dunno… Just doesn’t feel right, right? 
And while the challenge has been fun to play with, I really do like the cloudscape. I doubt I would have done this without the challenge… just doesn’t feel alien enough to submit without the Tron like data pipes on the ground.
