I wanna start by saying this doesn’t have to with me accidentally using the wrong tool or accidentally having something selected. I am using the correct tablet API too so that isnt it. this also didnt use to be an issue before I updated to krita 5.3.1 . My brush works smoothly one moment then the brush cursor disappears and it becomes unresponsive, then it starts working smoothly again. Im genuinely stumped on why it wont work smoothly. I am drawing on an asus zenbook duo and I have multiple plugins installed (though Idk if those are what is causing the issue or not)

Most plugins (or many, it seems) have not been updated to work with Krita 5.3. This can cause weird problems. You can determine which ones are causing problems by turning them off and turning on one at a time.
