Our current plan was just to to use Angle on all the platforms, since we currently use it on Windows already. It is good that Android will ship Angle very soon, so we will just be able to use it.
But this switch is possible only after we port to Qt6, yes.
PS:
Speaking truly, I cannot imagine, what are the benefits for us to use Vulkan over Angle. Do you know any?
Krita doesn’t really use any extreme features of GPU. Only basic textures uploading and rendering with simple pixel shaders.
