# Possible to change default Zoom tool behavior?

Is it possible to change the default zoom tool behavior to zoom fluently? I am using quite a large tablet (the largest of the old Intuos3 line) and this behavior would be quite convenient for me. I’d prefer to be able to make this change without changing my tablet’s shortcuts.

Have you tried the click-and-drag zoom shortcuts? Either ctrl-alt-space-drag or, simpler if you have middle mouse button mapped to the pen switch, middle mouse-drag. Those zoom without steps.

Thank you. I’m aware said behavior is possible using hotkeys, but I’m interested to know whether changing the default behavior is possible and I just haven’t found it yet in the configuration options.

Hello, Mayhaps this is something you are looking for.

Its still not an option available at the current build but someone made a build with it.
