Hello, welcome to join us here in what I think is a wonderful forum!
You should be aware of one thing. The brushes of an artist like Picasso, van Gogh, or Dave Greco, do not make you paint like Picasso, van Gogh, or Dave Greco, it is more important to learn how these artists used their brushes and tools to achieve their goals and bring their ideas to the canvas.
But it definitely helps to have good tools to do good work.
So I’d like to finish by suggesting what I think are a few good sets:
- @Odzuki’s “Photoshop common brush transfer, with original brush”, a set with fantastic brushes, well-thought-out and matured, now with version 3.2. I link the post with the download link, but I recommend you to read through the whole topic, because there Odzuki presents the brushes in individual posts, with pictures, setting hints and some even videos:
- a small but nice set by @emilm, “Memileo Brushes”, you can find this, I think, too little noticed set, via this topic, the download link is in the first post:
- another treasure is “URAVERAGEBOI’s Bundle”, by, the name suggests it, @URAVERAGEBOI, it is presented in this topic, including download link:
- an extensive universal set by “WayneParker” which I introduced just before the end of this extensive post among many other sets, is what I want to end the introductions with “WayneParker - Artmessiah’s Krita Presets” and which would have been “lost” there in the mass of presentations, had @Reitei17 not presented it again in this topic, after which the downloads for it exploded.
You can download it from here, it is despite its “quirks” (it was created at the time of Krita 2.8, early 2016) a well sorted selection of even today great brushes.
