From viewing of my artwork from the portfolio page, the number of 
is one figure but when I go to the actual post, the number of likes is different. Just wondering why and which number is correct?

One seems to be the number of likes in the thread and one is the number of likes on your post.
There are two comments with two likes. 7+2+2=11

It’s just conjecture on my part, but it looks like it may be right. 
Personally I don’t find the total number of likes in a thread very relevant. The likes of opposing views may be added together so it doesn’t show anything other than the amount of engagement in the thread.
