# RGB channel problems

I play a game that lets you make your own skins, and those skins have .n files responsible for how the light interacts with the colors and to work with those you need to split them in RGB channels, but when i do that, Krita freezes and starts entering into a ''Not responding" state which forces me to kill the program from task manager. I click ok for Krita to split the RGB channels, nothing happens, i do again, this time does it but it freezes after

Does anyone know how i can fix this issue?

If you’re using the Layer Split function for that, that’s currently broken. But I think that what you really need is [Channels to Layers](https://krita-artists.org/t/channels-to-layers/5350)
