Section of painting bugs out/disappear

Certain section of painting would just disappear and no amount of undos would bring it back. It has happened to me infrequently but multiple times throughout the year and through multiple versions of Krita and hardware (i upgraded my pc) so and i am not sure how to replicate it.

Platform : Windows 11
Krita : 5.2.14

Processor : AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU: Nvidia 5070ti
RAM: 64GB DDR5
Have the program installed on an SSD

I was working on a merged layer and a section of her face just disappeared.

Not sure how helpful but here’s the timelapse video of this, last few seconds is where it happens.
(If it is confusing what happens during the end, i was trying to compare the missing piece with an older saved file and whatever i could salvage.)

I’m unable to view the video for some reason but from your description and your screenshot that looks like a tile crash (that’s what I have seen developers refer to it in the past). This is a pretty serious bug that should never happen. I don’t think it can be fixed in the document once it happened and should probably be reported to the developers but I don’t know what details they need. Perhaps @tiar knows.
