Trying smaugust this year. The challenge is to design and draw dragon artwork during the month of August. I’m following a prompt list by o.sporin on Instagram. This art is for the first day’s prompt: blood. I tried basing the dragon’s face off of a vampire bat!

Second day prompt: star-eater! I was somewhat inspired by the monsters (Eris’s pets) from the movie Sinbad: Legend of The Seven Seas.

Your dragons are beautiful interpretations of the prompts. The 1st one is really striking. I wouldn’t like meeting this one in real life!
