In another series of threads, I pointed out a potential bug in how the smudge brush handles Smudge Length when Color Rate is set to greater than 0%. Fixing this bug may interfere with a few default presets though.

Color Smudge Brush Opacity Affected By Smudge Length

Over the past month, I have been testing an experimental feature for the smudge brush engine that allows the user to control whether or not the smudge brush blends with alpha transparency.
