Hi all!! šŸ˜€ This challenge is to create an image of a person/s dancing in the snow. You can start it now and submit it March 1st. Rules: - It must include snow in some way. - It must include a person or fairy or whatever character you want - It may not have any NSFW content - You can only post up to two images - Hide your image so you donā€™t influence others (hit the + button in your intry/reply and select ā€˜hide detailsā€™) - Challenge duration: 2026-03-01T06:00:00Zā†’2026-03-31T05:00:00Z **Canā€™t wait to see what you come up with!** šŸ˜Ž ---
**Author:** ![Corentin](https://krita-artists.org/user_avatar/krita-artists.org/corentin/32/198722_2.png) [@Corentin](https://krita-artists.org/u/Corentin)\ **Post date:** [February 25, 2026, 11:14am UTC](https://krita-artists.org/t/snowy-art-challenge-march-2026/170249/2 "2026-02-25T11:14:04Z")
I donā€™t think hiding your image should be a rule, you know, we all bring our own sensitivity to the table and itā€™s not like weā€™re spoiling everything for others. If we post our art online, itā€™s to show it! We donā€™t need to hide it in the Monthly Challenge, so why here? šŸ¤” ---
**Author:** ![BadGirl2023](https://krita-artists.org/user_avatar/krita-artists.org/badgirl2023/32/197750_2.png) [@BadGirl2023](https://krita-artists.org/u/BadGirl2023)\ **Post date:** [February 25, 2026, 2:51pm UTC](https://krita-artists.org/t/snowy-art-challenge-march-2026/170249/3 "2026-02-25T14:51:34Z")
So you donā€™t influnce other people. They might see your original image and think, ā€œOh, I could make something like that,ā€ and steal your idea. So I think you should hide it. ---
**Author:** ![Corentin](https://krita-artists.org/user_avatar/krita-artists.org/corentin/32/198722_2.png) [@Corentin](https://krita-artists.org/u/Corentin)\ **Post date:** [February 25, 2026, 2:59pm UTC](https://krita-artists.org/t/snowy-art-challenge-march-2026/170249/4 "2026-02-25T14:59:51Z")
Yeah, I had already understood that, thanks! But if you hide it, they can still be curious, click on it to reveal and steal it anyway. šŸ™„ Hiding the image is NOT made for that purpose, it is to protect sensitive people against potentially offensive content. But itā€™s an annoyance for people who just want to browse the entries. ---
**Author:** ![BadGirl2023](https://krita-artists.org/user_avatar/krita-artists.org/badgirl2023/32/197750_2.png) [@BadGirl2023](https://krita-artists.org/u/BadGirl2023)\ **Post date:** [February 25, 2026, 3:14pm UTC](https://krita-artists.org/t/snowy-art-challenge-march-2026/170249/5 "2026-02-25T15:14:24Z")
Okay. If you donā€™t want to hide it, donā€™t. But if itā€™s hidden, itā€™s less temptation. šŸ˜‰ ---

Hey! I havenā€™t forgotten this challenge! šŸ˜‰ Hereā€™s my entry: Legolas dancing in the snow on the Caradhras mountain, as Tolkienā€™s elves have apparently such a light step that they donā€™t even sink down into the snow! šŸ˜„ ![Legolas on Caradhras](https://krita-artists.org/uploads/default/original/3X/6/c/6c07974c3e08d10f7125259bd9877170694a2670.jpeg) Sorry that your challenge didnā€™t have more interest from the community @BadGirl2023, I really wish there were more initiatives like yours in this section, thatā€™s why I wanted to participate, even if Iā€™m the only oneā€¦ šŸ«¤ ---

I honestly thought this challenge ended already so I didnā€™t make anything till now, but I just wanted to submit a little somethinā€™ I cooked up today.
