I don’t analyze very much my work. When I read the subject, I thought about a fantasy illustration. I had in mind something more classic with some wizards and monsters. Even some silly humor with an animal as chosen one.
I decided to represent some dark and cold warriors and try some concept brushes. And the little guy is the perfect contrast. As if Chosen can be something dangerous.

Its beautiful and inspiring. It has a documentary feel to it, like a snapshot from some event happening. Apart from the obvious white in contrast to the darks, which adds the fantastical.
