I just bought a Wacom CTH 670 at a thrift store for $20. It came with the pen and nibs. Looked like it was hardly ever used.
I currently have a Wacom cintiq as well as an HP elite touch laptop with wacom pen support so I really didn’t need it.
How surprised was I when I started using the bamboo. Works beautifully and feels just like drawing on paper.
I will submit my next painting from using it. I know that the pen does not support tilt, at least I don’t think so and only 1024 pressure points but I am blown away by the tablet which I think works better than my HP elite drawing laptop. All this for $20 .
For an artist a real steal and for me a lesson that you don’t need a lot of money to own a drawing tablet. So long as you don’t get sucked into the latest marketing craze.
