Why scheduled posts are not hidden from public view? Thanks.

Hello, Krita developers or webmaster.
I have scheduled a post to be public at 1 AM tonight. Ahabgreybeard said that he couldn’t get to it as it was private. Obviously, he cannot, as the post is scheduled for a certain time.
However, that made me wonder… Shouldn’t my scheduled posts be hidden from public eyes???
Thank you for your input. Please let me know if I did something wrong.
I appreciate your help.
This is my post below:

KRITA 4.4.3 LEARN HOW TO USE THE LAYER STYLE (creating beautiful texts)

How did you schedule the post? Did you change the post timing. Just wanted to know how you accessed the setting.

I used the calendar icon. See image. Also, the post went live before the time I selected. I selected to be live at 1 am, Chicago time, and it was live way before that.
What did I do wrong?
Thanks.

Aah, you just inserted a date in the post. That would not schedule the post. I don’t know if you have the ability or if it is reserved only to staff. I as a staff can access post publishing through the wrench icon and change the time for post.

I understand. Maybe it would be great to make this known. Maybe insert a text that says that scheduling is only available for such and such… Just an idea.
Thank you so much for your help.
As always, greatly appreciated.
