Born in 1976 in Trieste, I developed a passion for drawing early, inspired by Italian Disney comics and artists like Romano Scarpa, Giorgio Cavazzano and Carl Barks. As I grew older, I moved to more mature works such as Dylan Dog, discovering Stano, Dall’Agnol, Casertano, Roy and Castellini, who strongly shaped my style.

Through the bookshop “Nonsololibri” and its manager, Dario Fontana, I explored more sophisticated authors. Magnus became my favourite, alongside Serpieri, Manara, Uderzo, Moebius, Otomo, Mignola and Miller, expanding my artistic influences.

Despite my artistic inclination, I followed a scientific path and enrolled at the Galilei scientific high school in 1990, continuing to draw and refine my technique throughout my studies.

In the late ’90s I met Mario Cerne and became one of the main illustrators for his independent label, Twilight Comics, contributing character designs and the publisher’s logo. After leaving the Geology faculty, I worked as a graphic designer for local web agencies before transitioning into programming. Today I work as a Senior Software Engineer, mainly in front‑end development.

Around 2015, I took part in the “24 Hours of Comics” and a charity workshop for the Burlo Garofolo children’s hospital, both organized by the Trieste School of Comics under Cerne’s direction.

Recently, I’ve been developing two comic series—Messie Ness and The Importance of Being Alien. In January 2023, I exhibited a print of Moka Lazar, a character from the latter series, marking my first participation in a collective exhibition organized by MegaArt at the Tolomeo space in Milan.
