4 Themes!

Wow, it’s been a while since I posted something here, sorry, I ran out of ideas :sweat_smile: :cry:

But- I made 4 themes for Krita, inspired by the dark mode of Paint Tool Sai that I found out there! :partying_face: :star_struck: :heart_eyes:

The themes included are:

The steps you must follow are:

  1. Unzip the file
  2. Copy them and go to the: C:\Program Files\Krita (x64)\share\color-schemes
  3. You paste them in the folder “color-schemes” and that’s it!

It took me some work since it is the first time I try to modify the color of a program, so… It was tedious :sweat_smile: :sweat_smile: :sweat_smile:

Thanks to @freyalupen for creating the plugin “Theme Creator Extension”, I highly recommend it!

Loving the purple — my favorite color scheme ! (I alternate between themes depending on the time of day so it’s now my night pick <3)

Normally, I refrain from joining forums because of the toxicity that most forums have, but your message made me want to congratulate you on this. Now I can customize Krita to my heart’s content. :smiley:

How can I install them?

With themes, it depends on your OS that you did not name, also your version of Krita is missing, as well as from where you downloaded it, because this can make a difference in how Krita is installed and sometimes needs different approaches to solve an issue.

This is the usual way, but it may not work with your unknown system:
Not bundled resources are installed into Krita via ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Manage Resources…’’ where you have to click on the button Import Resources and then browse to and select the resource in question, click on okay, or however a selection is confirmed with your file manager, and the resource is installed. In seldom cases, you may need to restart Krita afterward, but usually you can use the resource right away.
