Hello. I was using this guide Building Krita from Source — Krita Manual 5.0.0 documentation to build a modified version of Krita. However it does not include an explanation on how to include the new G’Mic fork for Krita 5+. I have no idea how the build tools in the C++ ecosystem work, I just need to know which build commands to run to get G’Mic working with my custom build. (Right now it just says “The GMic plugin is not installed or could not be loaded.”)
I’m willing to give 2 XMR in cryptocurrency (currently about $400 USD) for the information that leads me to get it working with the steps outlined in the build tutorial from the manual. Thanks for reading.

Thanks. I tried earlier to run the cmake commands in those scripts but since I have no experience with cmake I don’t know how to integrate this with the cmake steps in the official build tutorial, or even how to interpret the errors.

Unlike the EFF, the Krita Foundation does not accept cryptocurrency as far as I can tell. I’d happily give them my Internet funny money otherwise (only kind of money I have).

I don’t have access to KYC exchanges or a bank account that accepts money from such exchanges. I figured I’d throw in a risk-free reward to show my appreciation for any help but if it goes against the spirit of the forum I will take it down.
I’ll take a look this weekend If time permits no money required, if possible you can donate to Krita foundation. It refers to a bash script for cmake, check that out.
