in krita 5 (tested in beta 2 and 5.1 prealpha of the day), the cursor outline preview is incorrect compare to previous version.
here my brush tip is square with 5 spike, in krita 5 :
in krita 4.4.8, it’s correct
I can confirm this for the Nov 21st 5.1.0-prealpha.
Another bug report is needed.
