(5.1.4) White screen after putting laptop in sleep mode

After leaving my laptop in sleep mode for a little while (hours? not sure of the specifics) with Krita open, the app will occasionally go completely white, and can only be fixed by closing it.

However, by moving my mouse around, I can see that all of the buttons and interface seem to still be there, and work- besides drawing on the canvas itself. I just can’t see anything.

This has only started happening recently, and I’ve been using the same version of Krita for a while now.

The app is not crashing or not responding during this. It’s still functional.

I suspect that this happens because the graphics card shuts down during the sleep which causes issues when rendering the application interface after wake up. I had similar issues with other applications too, on my old laptop which had a dedicated graphics card in addition to the GPU build into the CPU.
