I’ve shared these brush tips here elsewhere but a friend recently asked me for some of the gradients I’ve been using to color in my mandalas, so I figured I might as well put everything together into a proper bundle.
so here it is:
https://ko-fi.com/s/56a99beaef
A collections of around 100 gradient maps that I’ve made or modified while playing around in Krita. As well as a handful of gradient brush tips for getting cool drawing effects.
(see here for more info on what the brush tips are for and what they can do: docs.krita.org/en/tutorials/krita-brush-tips/gradient_map_brush_tip.html))
there are two bundles included in the Zip: one with all the gradient AND brush tips, and one of just the brush tips. I’ve also included separate png files of each brush tip if you would like to play around and experiment.
Disclaimer: I have no idea if any of these gradient maps will be good for the typical use of coloring in detailed grayscale drawings, I mostly use them for backgrounds with other textures applied on top or for Mandalas.
the first image is a screenshot from the manage resources menu of all the gradients (yes it does tend a bit heavily towards pink/purple/blue, sorry) and the second image is a sampling of five gradients applied to a mandala I drew - I made a radial black and white gradient layer behind the drawing, poked it to fit and then applied the gradient map filters to it.
from top left to bottom right the gradients used are: Sunset Blues, Alien Sunset, Christmas Cabin, Retro Thanksgiving, and Orange Burn.
while I am making this Pay What You Want, it would be totally awesome if you like this, if you could pay a few dollars to show your thanks.
(both of these images belong to/were made by me)
