Adding to this (Wacom Movinkpad 14 pro): The buttons are now configurable in Krita 5.3
It comes with a stylus, it has tilt and and rotation and pressure.
| XP-Pen| Magic Notepad | yes, it has a stylus | yes | yes * | drawing with touch supported ? | krita starts at least? | ux (0-5) ?|
*tilt is there but it’s not greatly reliable
I don’t understand the last two? Krita starts, it can draw but lags on large brushes. is UX user experience? I’d say.. 4? Because of lag with large brushes and the small screen (but pen experience is nice)
| Samsung|Galaxy tab s6 lite (from around 2020) | yes | yes| yes | drawing with touch supported | krita starts at least* | ux (0-5) |
*I had Krita on it and used it quite well, but after factory resetting to gift it to a friend, and re-installing Krita, it was basically useless. Very slow and laggy. I guess old versions of Krita may work?
| brand | model | stylus | stylus pressure | stylus tilt | touch painting | krita supported | ux (0-5) |

the fact that krita functions on this tablet pretty much as well as it does on my computer is mind-blowing.
performance is excellent. i’ve ported over all of my resources and settings and i essentially use the exact same workflow both on tablet and pc. very grateful for- and proud- of what krita has achieved here.
i’m using a wacom one stylus rather than the default s pen (which is inferior in terms of IAF and tilt), and that works perfectly as well- pressure, tilt, side button, etc. zero complaints.
*a note for the UX- it’s perfect for me because i spend most of my time in canvas-only mode and rely on shortcuts, therefore the admittedly crammed feeling of the UI on the smaller screen (this is an 11 inch model) is irrelevant for me.
for the shortcuts i use an 8bitdo micro controller- both on my tablet and my pc, hence the identical workflow. it’s much more convenient than a bluetooth keyboard and i highly recommend it. takes a bit of getting used to, but the ergonomics are unmatched- hence why i use it on my pc as well.
