That blur is almost exactly how my left eye vision is now after detached retina surgery back in April! Beautiful piece, and I am grateful I can view it with my good eye!

I agree about the blur illusion,though that was not intentional 
!
I was using the rough bristle brushes and decided to keep that unfinished raw look .
But somehow that created a blurry illusion and thank you for appreciating it .
I can feel about the troubles you are having with your vision.
My father had a similar kind of problem.
