A Magic The gathering altered art

Hello everyone,

Let me open this topic with this regard: Being an artist by hobby is tough.
Not having any obligation or a solid goal to do art usually lead me to weeks without drawing anything. Not to mention the lack of discipline to do proper studies, and improve my craft.

Watching @WesGardner Youtube videos I had two insights recently. First, it isn’t too late to pursue making art that I myself will find good enough. Second, that doing alternative art for a trading card game that I usually play, would be a good way to push me to make constant (and concrete) art. Even when I’m not really inspired to draw.

To kick it off. My first attempt at changing a card visual.

Really excited with the prospect of finally finding a reason to draw whenever.

Cheers.

The best you can do to improve your skill at any work is to develop a habit of doing this or that work. Although it’s a complex task mostly associated with your personality it is worthwhile.
I’ve been drawing and painting for about two years every day except Sa and Su. Now I can say that I’m in a strong habit of drawing and I can’t imagine myself without doing it every evening after my main work. I have a family and household work also. The drawing habbit helps me to improve and this is very encouraging and rewarding.
It is up to you to find what is better in your situation but trust me, every step you make to the direction of developing good habits and quitting bad ones helps you to master everything you want to master. There is a lot of information in the Internet about making habits. It may help you if you use it wise and properly. Good luck
