**let me just preface this by saying I have watched some tutorials on the bezier tool and I have gotten its use close, but it feels like I’m doing more work to get to the same outcome. all my time making on krita the bezier tool has always felt unintuitive to me. the curve tool on ms paint to me in my experience was quick to pick up and let me place mostly good curves quickly.
the bezier tool seems to be focused on being truly accurate, vector focused; i tend to be quick and dirty in my workflow, and the bezier tool has never just felt right. sorry i know that’s not the most helpful way to put it. right now i spam down a few curves/lines with the freehand path tool till i get one that looks right, it can take a few tries with the freehand path tool can be a bit chaotic.
the ms paint curve tool feels like a happy medium to those two tools to me, and might me easier for some people like myself to pickup.
the existing assist tool spline works exactly like what i want, but that is a layout for the assist, needing me to still follow the line with snap slowing it all down. in ms paint with the curve tool, click and drag from start point to end point, next click and drag sets the curve of the start point, the third click and drag makes the curve for the end point and blends it all into your curve, and any clicks after that will finalize. its simple enough to start up ms paint and try it yourself of course.**
