a pencil drawing

Just a question I want to make pencil drawing, using in the colors gray to black the shades, or reciprocity.
for if I use the colors and draw several times on top of each other I can not control it, and do not look good

Yes Pencil HB, not satisfying
it’s probably me it’s doing it wrong
it is when I have to fill it it gets darker and darker, it does not have to it must be as one or will do it on real paper
you can suggest another brush

On a real paper, even with a 2H or 4H, when you pass multiple times on the same place, it became -slowly- darker :slight_smile:
But here probably it became darker too fast I guess… :thinking:

For what I understood, you want a brush with a pencil effect, but if you pass multiple times over the same area, you don’t want to see the area being darker…

There’s many brushes, that’s difficult to tell which one could satisfy your need.
Also, I unfortunately not the best here to advise with brushes (some users here are mastering this part of Krita, but not me :sweat_smile:)

On my side I have the RM Pencil 2B, I’m not sure if it a default Krita pencil or I got it somewhere else (only thing i’m practically sure, it’s a Ramon’s pencil)

It gives this result:

You can pass multiple times over the same place, it doesn’t become darker (but “white” part of paper is being filled sow the density is growing)

But I don’t know if it match with what you’re expecting…

Might need for someone with better skills than me with brush to get better help :slight_smile:
